Field Trips
Children can experience hands-on farm fun during their time here on our 100-year-old farm. We want the next generation to learn where their food comes from and simple facts about farm life and seasonal crops. Our field trips are geared toward children ages 4–10. Experience Life on the Farm
Strawberry Season Field Trips
Monday through Friday mornings, from mid-April – mid-May. Children will learn various facts about strawberries, from planting to picking! Field trip includes:
- Hayride
- Farm Playground
- Bee Education / Honey Straw
- Butterfly Education
- Strawberry Education
- Storytime
- Picking a Quart of Strawberries to Take Home
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Fall Time Field Trips
Monday through Friday mornings during the month of October. Each child will take home a mini pumpkin or bag of apples (based on availability). Children will learn various facts about fall crops and rotate between the following interactive stations:
- Hayride
- Corn Maze
- Pumpkin Education
- Farm Playground
- Corn Shelling
- Cow Milking
- Barn Games
- Cotton Education
- Apple Education
- Storytime
- Vanilla Ice Cream
Saturdays in October
Every Saturday in October we open our fall festival area to the public from 10am-4pm. There is a fee to enter the area (please call for pricing) for all children above 2 years old and adults. All children must be supervised by an adult. Everyone must wear shoes and clothes. No animals allowed anywhere on the property per United States Department of Agriculture and for the safety of all customers. No Smoking on Property. The price includes the following:
